Its possible, however you should consult with a veterinarian. There is a link here: http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlerender.fcgi?artid=548625 which is an excerpt of an article, of note is that its use was studied for dermatitis, and 4/22 only showed 18% improvement, and 2 (that's 2 out of 22 or nearly 10 percent!!) that vomited after being given some form of the drug. Consult a vet and make sure its not something that is BREED specific in reactivity ... ie some drugs you *do not* give to certain breeds of dog.
