However this was not a lie. Sarah, as well as being Abrahams wife, was indeed his sister also. Therefore Abraham didn't lie. If pharaoh asked, is this your wife, abraham would certainly of said yes.
This had repercussions though, as now the Egyptians did not trust the Hebrew people.
