map scales
relative size retaining to a map or globe basically means the same... if you had a large grape... and a small grape that were the exzact same size and shape... they would have relative size... only because they are alike...
Map just tells you that whatever it is holds information on what the world looks like. It can be flat on paper, electronic in a computer or GPS. A globe OTOH tells you is a ball, a sphere, with a map printed on its surface.
A globe
A globe is tells you the continents but actuall a map is better because it is smaller, cheap, and every detailed.

The scale
A flat map exaggerates certain countries close to the poles. A globe shows the bodies of land in their actual size. For example: Greenland looks huge on a flat map, but looks much smaller (its actual size compared to the other countries) on a globe. Next, lines of longitude and latitude are more accurate on a globe.
because it has to be stretched to fit on the map. example, look at Greenland on a map and on a globe. are they the same size or not? NO. the globe is accurate and the map is wrong because it had to be stretched out the fit the flat rectangle. hope this helped
A globe is round. A map is flat.

Both. It doesn't matter which you use.
