Jamaica produces something like 2/3 of the world's aluminum through bauxite ore. (Al-Can is based Jamaica). It also produces the world's most expensive coffee (Blue Mountain coffee), which is expensive partly because there isn't much of it, but it's of top quality. Also produces citrus and bananas.

Jamaica also exports agricultural products, Bananas (mostly to England and Europe) Yams ( to the US and Canada) and Coffee (primarily to Japan, although Blue Mountain Coffee is prized throughout the world.) Jamaican Rum is exported and enjoyed throughout the world, with Appleton's and Meyers the primary marques. Red Stripe beer is also sold in the international market, although Red Stripe in the UK is actually brewed in the UK.
