Any expected deliverer such as Jesus Christ. Any person who delivers a person or people from a terrible fate.
As the teaching of Jesus Christ was very simple and easy to follow, and you do not have to do anything like what some people do. They meditate for years under a tree and all that. All you do is read the teachings of Jesus and follow it. Mainly people are looking for peace. The Bible teaches that Jesus was the long promised Messiah (Christ), that is Deliverer. The one who would save mankind from their sin. God in times past spoke through His prophets about what He would do and about this Deliverer. But when Jesus came, God spoke through His Son, Jesus. According the the Bible, Jesus is that Deliverer who came to save mankind from their sin. As children of Adam we are all by our very nature sinners, breakers of God eternal law. We are born that way, no one needs to teach us how to break God law. Jesus came to free us from that sin nature, by His perfect sinless life and death. People still read about Jesus Christ, because as His disciple Peter confessed that He, Jesus, alone has the words of eternal life. Jesus said about His life that He had come that we might have life and have it more abundantly.
The expected king and deliverer of the Hebrews; the Savior; Christ.
Christus It means 'he who delivers', 'the deliverer', 'the messiah'
Christ Church Detroit was created in 1863.
The teachings of Jesus ARE Christ's message because he was Jesus Christ. Christ and Jesus are the same person.
That is a wonderful question, but the Bible does not use much punctuation, so in reality, speaking of the grammar, it is suppose to be written Jesus, Christ. not Jesus Christ. As many references in the KJV of the Bible, is Christ Jesus, written correctly Christ, Jesus, or Jesus, Christ. It is referring to Christ.
Jesus Christ
'Christ' comes from the Greek word for 'anointed', and the Hebrew word is 'messiah' (approximately). The ancient Jews anointedtheir kings and high priests, and the first-century Jews hoped for a new messiah to liberate their nation. The early Christians saw Jesus as this longed-for messiah. So, 'Christ' is a title, not a name - in English, Jesus Christ means 'Jesus the anointed one'.
