My keypad doesn't light up anymore on my 1995 Ford Explorer and I was told that the assembly would have to be changed in order to fix the problem , it's not just a bulb
Because Microwaves always light up.
As far as I know the keypad has to be changed ( my 1995 Ford Explorer XLT keypad doesn't light up anymore , also )
F3 means the keypad and/or keypad circuit board are malfunctioning and may need to be replaced.
yes, because if it sucks up even just the microwave light, it will be converted into heat. ~miles28~
Continued Question: Can it be used on the counter like a regular microwave or does it have to be raised up (light and fan under microwave)? raised
the heat caused by the waves in the microwave heat the light bulb enough that it causes the fillament to light. There is a chance that the light bulb could explode though so don't try this at home.
The microwave energy in a microwave oven is of a much lower frequency than light, but light is electromagnetic energy like the microwave radiation is.
No, this microwave oven does not have a lock option on it. It would be safest to keep this up higher where small hands cannot reach.
Of course you can microwave a light bulb, the question is, is it really a smart thing to do.
the light bulb will light up because of the different heat waves in the microwave. If you want to try thisfirst you take a small cup and fill it with a little bit of water take a light bulb and place it in water then put it a microwave for ten seconds.note don't put in microwave for more than twenty seconds the light bulb will explode
