Shock the battery with a hammer shot to the posts. Also works well on a mugger or cougar. if you have power but it wont turn over it may be the starter and if you have a standard and you have power and it want to turn over than it is probably your clutch.and blow the head

the kia sportage has 2 relays, they are : Main engine relay and fuel pump relay,rep[lace them in pairs and your problem will go away. $16.00 each relay from kia dealer.
