KIller Whales do not attack sharks and they do not attack anything that they see. Killer Whales only eat small sharks and fish
because
No creatures are mindless killers there is always a reason
not true!!!
dolphins dont eat sharks. the only time that they attack is if one of their family is in trouble
Yes. When people around them get too excited and start to make loud noises and strong movements, dolphins will get scared and may attack, but that is quite rare.
When Sharks Attack - 2012 California Killer was released on: USA: 8 August 2013
well they are both ways they attack each other
Both Dolphins and Sharks are predatory animals. They often hunt and breed in areas accessible to one another. The acts of violence toward each species can simply be due to the fact that each may be competing for hunting territory, to protection of offspring. Sharks do attack dolphins, even the related Orca(killer whale) as prey, so dolphins will attack sharks for purpose of protection. There have been recorded incidents of dolphins "protecting" human swimmers from shark attacks( by attacking sharks or swimming around humans to drive sharks away) but it is probably because dolphins don't see humans as threats, and have an instinctive emnity toward sharks.
Other sharks. More than anything, humans are the number one killer of sharks. People kill millions and millions of sharks every year. It has recently been discovered that the Killer whale is a hunter and efficient killer of the great white whale. Probably the most efficient killer of great whites, including man. Scientists discovered that killer whales will take advantage of the fact that sharks are paralized when flipped on their backs. A killer whale drives into the shark, grabs it behind the head and flips it over and holds it until the shark is immobilized and then the pod will feast on the shark and eat the shark and even removes the liver and enjoys it as a group. Sharks. From what i know they avoid sharks because of territory and food. I'm sure that sharks will attack a dolphin under the right circumstance. I'd also like to add humans to the list. Humans have probably been the predator of every animal on this earth at one point, and i wouldn't be surprised if a human killed a dolphin. Killer Whales are also dolphins predators. Killer Whales feed on any animal their size or a animal that's smaller than it.
Other dolphins, penguins, seals, fish. Will sometimes attack whales. Killer whales are really large dolphins.
Dolphins eat fish, but they don't necessarily attack anything.
dolphins don't hide from sharks. Sharks hide from dolphins. Sharks hide from them because if a shark tries to mess with a dolphin, the dolphin will whip around and jab the shark's side with its pointy nose.
It is not so much that sharks are scared of killer whales, more that they are prey of killer whales. The killer whale is the oceans number one predator but this does not mean to say that as its prey the shark is scared of it. There are thousands of types of sharks. So on the whole some sharks are quite likely to be afraid of killer whales where as others probably not.
No whale sharks do not attack. They are very harmless creatures.
