Smooth muscle tissue is the type of muscle tissue found in the walls of many organs and blood vessels in the body.

It differs by several characteristics from smooth muscle (found in places such as the intestinal tract, stomach etc) and skeletial muscle (the muscle's you can EASILY see on body builders).
