By default they align to the left.
Any kind of number will right align. A label will initially left align, because it usually text, but you can set it to right align, usually when there is a value in the cell to the right that it is the label for.
In TextAlign, the difference between vertical and horizontal alignment is which way you align something. Horizontal alignment is set by aligning to the center, right, or left and vertical alignment is set by aligning to the top, bottom, or middle of a cell.
To align Avery labels you can use their templates with Word (See links below) or you can use the align option in their free layout software Design Pro or you can use their online design and print option.
There is no definitive answer to that. Normally text labels are aligned to the left, particularly at the start of rows. Over columns they may be centred. However, there are no set rules, so you can align them the way you want as long as it is clear and consistent.
They align during Metaphase I
It is the default setting for text. It aligns the text to the right side of a cell. If you use left align, the text will be aligned to the left side of the cell. If you use center align, the text will be aligned in the center of the cell.
