Initially the rumor that Lauren was involved with Jafar, the evil cartoon character, was denied by reps of both Lauren and Jafar. Some reported that Lauren was already in a long term relationship with Grumpy Dwarf, while rumors also indicated a fling with Jafar's nemesis Aladdin (who is currently married to Princess Jasmine). Jafar denied he was openly courting reality show star Jessica Simpson at the time.

Lauren reportedly made reference to her "friend" Jafar in an interview and photos surfaced of them together at Mickey Mouse's mansion.

The talk of the couple quietly went away as London's reps recently had to address rumors involving a brief affair with (former mermaid) Ariel's husband Prince Eric.

Jafar has recently emerged on the social networking site Twitter.com claiming to have dated Miss London.

For the record, Miss London's reps say she has never been to Mickey's mansion and has never met Jafar. Her response to the alleged existence of photos of them together: "Can we say Photoshop?"

LOL: This is how easy it is to start a rumor and have it seem "legitmate" because it's "published" on the internet.
