First of all you might have hit a stump and one of the blades are bent...but if you dont remember doing anything like that, then get a level and place it on your deck and see if its level, if not there should be a way to adjust it, you'll have to take a pin out on one side and lower or raise the deck to the next hole. But id check the blades first
reinstalling after blade exchange
You will have to make sure you park on a flat serface before tightening the motion drive belt of a murray lawn tractor. Remove most of the parts from underneath the tractor until you can reach the belt. Tighten of loosen screws as needed.
A murray tractor can weigh anywhere from 4,700 and up in weight depending on the tires because the tires carry all the weight so it makes it heavyer with the tires on the tractor than it does when the tires are not filled.
probably the dalership....or at sears or lowes
It is a Briggs & Stratton Engine, so get the engine model and try jackssmallengines.com.
I have a Repair Parts booklet containing drawings and part numbers which I could copy and send you if that helps. I am still using the mower purchased in 1994. Many parts are no longer available which is how I found your question while searching for one of those parts. Contact me at loufromhou@yahoo.com.
Check for a bent mower blade or uneven air pressure in the tires.
There is a charging system based on magnetis on the underside of the flywheel. You should see a connection near the starter that goes up and under the cover.
There is a set of links that carry the deck below the tractor frame. You can turn the nut on the link to adjust is, in some cases you disconnect the link and turn the entire link.
The diagram should be on a label on the deck or on the rear of the mower. If it is gone, then your local mower repair shop can probably print you one out for a small fee.
I use a flathead screwdriver... but they make a tool. I would guess you could rent the tool from a sears or a Lowes.. but hey, if you have a lawnmower, i bet you have a screwdriver.
Go to tewarehouse.com, then OEM parts lookup, pick your brand, your model, then rider or tractor, then find/click "electrical", and a schematic should be in that section. Just keep clicking and looking.
