where and what is a leak detection pump pressure solenoid on my 97' Dodge Caravan? On my 1998 Dodge Stratus, it is tucked in between the underside of the car and the fuel tank.
The leak detection pump is next to the steering gear, under the van, below the driver side floor board.

Right front fender, under the hood. Next to the evap solenoid.
Under the van on the left side just forwrad of drivers seat in the subframe.

The LDP (Leak Detection Pump) is located above the fuel tank. You'll have to remove the fuel tank to get to it.

It stands for leak detection pump. It is part of the evaporative emissions leak detection system. The engine computer uses the LDP pump to pressurise the fuel tank and check for vapor leaks.
