it could be one of two things, there couild be a loose wire on that headlight socket or it could just be that the low beam just burnt out and you need to replace the headlight. brewski
hey i had simalar problem exept it was my high beam i tried everything but then my check engine light came on for another reason so my buddy with a code reader came and read the codes and clear them and now my headlight works so your problem could be a computer related just go in and clear your codes i used a Dodge superchips programmer to clear the dtc any dondge programmer will work the on i used was made for my buddys 04 5.7 ram my car is a 07 caliber
To reset computer on dodge caliber. remove the dodge caliber, remove the negative and positive cable from the battery. You can then reset your computer.
Reset light when replacing headlight
You do not reset a battery light. The light is on because there is something wrong with the charging system on the vehicle. In most cases the alternator has failed and needs replacing. Once you fix the problem that caused the light to come on the light will go out.
All fuses are in the under hood fuse box.
A scan tool is required.
The ABS light is on because there is a problem with the ABS (Antilock Brake System). Until the problem is fixed the light will remain on. Once the problem is fixed the light will reset itself after a short drive.
