If the piercer decides he's not going to pierce anyone under the age of 18--and some piercers won't--you are not getting a piercing from him if you're not 18 yet. As long as his policy is uniform, he is within his rights to refuse service to anyone.

I dont know about California but I live in Toronto,Canada and I got my first piercing when i was three and the second when i was in 4th grade!

it depends on where in BC you get the piercing done. i know that in Vancouver it is 16, but delta and maple ridge it's like 18. it just depends
