It is very unlikely that what you are experiencing is a period. Even if your HCG level has gone down to 0, it is still possible to have spotting. However if you are not sure of your HCG level, see a doctor to make sure you have had a complete miscarriage, and that your levels have gone down. If you have not, this may be the reason for the light bleeding 16 days after. Hope this helps!
