I can answer this because ive been in this situation.
There are many things you could do, but the ways they could turn out are VASTLY different. I personally told my best friend that I liked her.
Now for me, she told me she liked me too and we fell in love, but we dont talk very often anymore. We have both moved on with our lives. She dates her guys, I date my girls.
What you do, is all up to you. You can either tell them you like them, thus risking your friendship and the stability of your life, or, you can not tell them, keeping your friendship yet hurting inside because you never took that chance.
I would tell her all over again if I could. It was the first time in my life I ever DID something. You should go for it. Seriously. If they are truly your friend, they will be fine with it and just carry on. Hey, they may even have the same feelings for you.
Whenever people of the opposite sex become best friends, someone ends up liking the other. GO FOR IT.
