1. Click start, then run. Next type "taskmgr" then hit enter. 2. Hold Ctrl, Alt, and Delete for 1 second, then release. 3. Hold Ctrl, Shift, and press Esc. 4. Right click on the taskbar and click "task manager". 5. In most installations of Windows, you should be able to paste the following directory into any address bar within any folder. "C:\WINDOWS\system32\taskmgr.exe" 6. Some viruses edit the registries and make it impossible to open the task manager. To get around this just simply navigate to the task manager registry (just Google for the exact directory), right-click and click modify, then type in a 1 instead of a zero. If the virus automatically changes the value back just simply edit it again, hit enter instead of clicking okay, and quickly hold ctrl-alt-delete before it is edited again.
