Do you want a software to collect the computer‘s hardware information from LAN ?
The components of LAN are as following:* WORKSTATIONS * NETWORKING MEDIA * NIC CARDS
mostly servers, but also a range of workstations that connect into a lan system that connects to the servers, the it department controls the servers and LAN and wan making sure that all systems are up to data and working properly with high speed and high security. hardware components would include large hubs, switches, routers, modems, servers, computers(obviously) and Ethernet cables, in some cases rs-232 cables are also used. this may vary depending on your network size
Monitors Anywhere software uses HDMI over LAN - so that one computer can display onto many screens that are not connected to the computer by a display cable, but are connected with LAN cables. So you do not need to have a computer behind each monitor. But you do need in addition to the software, HDMI over LAN hardware. This hardware replaces the conventional graphics card of a computer.. Also HDMI to LAN hardware from different manufactures cannot be installed on the same computer. The type of hardware also limits the number of monitor that can be connected. ** On April 2015 a new updated driver was released which allows you to connect any hardware manufacturer and also any number of units to a single PC. Also all HDMI over LAN components must be found in the same LAN network segment.
lan
It has no wireless hardware inside, so cannot connect to a LAN.
router/modem
Network topology is the manner in which the physical components of a LAN are connected together. Network topology can be either physical or logical.
a WOL header is actually a hardware piece which enables WOL (wake on lan) This is used for remotely turning on your PC.
by the layer hierarchy that is made by the software and hardware . ex: two lan card has a well known system to recognize the packets and process it . and give the reslut to the pc. and by the herarchy . mean ( the protocols ) they will connect and communicate with each other .
