There was almost nothing that the Nazis did not take from the Jews, especially in the Ghettos.

Their homes, their money, their jewlerry, their books and their buisness all those things were taken from them.

The best way to learn about anything is to read a book or scholarly research. Start with an encyclopedia and work out from there. The Holocaust was not one simple event; there were many aspects, people, events, ideas, and places involved. Schindler's list shows only a few of these aspects. If one wanted to understand the plight of the Jews, how one man was able to save many of them, and how Nazis interacted with Jews and non-Jews, Schindler's list would be educational - but remember, it is a movie, and the filmmakers may have taken liberties with its production. It cannot be taken as fact.
Jews at first hardly noticed anything other than that they were forced to wear the yellow six-pointed star with the word "Jude" (Germany), "Jood" (the Netherlands) or another word meaning Jew in the local language. In the beginning, their freedom was hardly impeded. Later on, however, things worsened. Jews were no longer allowed in a steadily growing list of locations, such as markets, cinemas, parks, and other social areas. Then, the situation turned sour, and the things we all know about started happening. For instance, the Jews were rounded up to be taken to Auschwitz and other camps, under the impression they were taken there to work for Germany while in reality they were being led to their death.
Every Jewish person you ask will choose different things for this list. But many Jews may include on this list: God, Torah, Shabbat, Family, Shlom Bayit (peace in the household), The State of Israel, and/or Tikkun Olam (making the world a better place).
