4: Transport of oxygen_ A protein called hemoglobin contain iron atom which temporarily links with oxygen and releases it throughout the body.

5: Blood Clotting_Fibrinogen is a glycoprotein which helps in healing of wounds. Thus it prevents the blood loss and inhibits the passage of germs.

6: Immunity_ Antibodies are proteins that bind to the pathogens and inhibit their activities.

7: Muscles contractility_Some proteins are responsible for muscles contractility and movement.

Proteins have vast number of functions. Among the important ones includes:

1. our hairs composed of protein keratin which are present only in dead cells.

2. Useful in the process of blood clotting like, thrombin, fibrinogen..

3. all genes which are expressed in our body makes protein. for instance: insulin and glucagon which controls the rise and fall of the sugar resp.

4. During immune response against the viruses body produces interferons that are to proteins which helps to fight against viral infectons.

5. anti-venoms are also proteins which helps against the particular type of the poison.

these are some of the functions of the proteins.
