The main similarity between Uncle Andrew and Jadis was that they both wanted power. They used magic for selfish purposes, to gain their own power and elevate themselves above everyone else, rather than for the good of others. They were happy to sacrifice others along the way, as long as it served their own purposes.
Both Uncle Andrew and Jadis are power-hungry individuals who desire control and domination over others. They are both willing to use deception and manipulation to achieve their goals, and show a disregard for the well-being of others in the process. Additionally, both characters exhibit a sense of entitlement and arrogance in their actions and behavior.

Uncle Andrew and his rings. They were the reason Diggory and Polly got to see Narnia in the first place and how they met the White Witch (known as Jadis in the book).
The Magician's Nephew represents Earth. It is all about the creation of Narnia by Aslan, comparable to God's creation of our planet.
In "The Magician's Nephew," someone brought a yellow ring for Mabel Kirke from India as a gift.
