Tom Robinson- because the racism of the people of Maycomb killed his kindness and hope

Arthur 'Boo' Radley- because his father's strict manners took away the youth years in his life, he was kind of like a mockingbird in captivity. If he was to go to the outside world as a grown man he wouldn't be able to defend himself.

Jeremy 'Jem' Finch- Because his beliefs and sense of justice were shaken by the existing racism in Maycomb county

In "To Kill a Mockingbird," the three mockingbirds are Tom Robinson, Boo Radley, and Atticus Finch. These characters are likened to mockingbirds because they are innocent and kind-hearted individuals who are unjustly persecuted or misunderstood by society. Just as it is a sin to kill a mockingbird, harming these characters represents a violation of their innocence and goodness.
