The sun is a star, the moon is a satellite and the Earth is a planet. A similarity is the shape, as they are all roughly spherical. Also, they all orbit a larger object, with the Moon orbiting the Earth, with the Earth orbiting the Sun and the Sun orbiting the centre of the galaxy.
Not sure how scientific you want the answer to be but the first 3 things that come to this uneducated mind of mine are:
1. They both orbit another entity
2. They are both spherical in shape
3. Both have mass
These 3 properties are true of many things but they technically answer the question.
-- Each of them is spherical in shape. -- Each of them is visible to every living human being. -- All three revolve around their common center of mass. -- All three are members of the "Solar System". -- All three are visible from Mercury, Venus, Mars, probably Jupiter, and from all the moons of Mars and Jupiter. -- Each of them is bigger than a breadbox and heavier than a big rock.
The earth and sun don't have much in common. They are both approximately spherical, they both spin on their axis and they are both in our solar system.
The Sun is in our Milky Way Galaxy and so is the Earth.
Magnetic field that periodically reverses.
The sun and moon really have nothing in common. Being in the same Solar System and revolving around the Galaxy is about the only thing I can think of.
people can die on both (no du)
there both in our solar system
they both have a gravitational pull
they all have something to do with light but the earth shares the light with the sun as does the moon but on earth we have adapted from just using the sun and use man made light sources.ok?
-- All are spherical.
-- All are members of the solar system.
-- All are easily visible without optical instruments to every human being.

the moon has stages because it is orbiting around the earth and reflecting the sun in different ways
it effects r currents
Shape, rotation-direction, and orbit-direction.
No. An object weighs less on the moon than on Earth. This is because the gravity on the moon is much less than that of Earth, so there is less of a force pulling down on an object.
bot have a surface heavily and old
gravitytemperaturehours of daylight
The Earth is larger than the MoonThe Earth has a satellite (the Moon is that satellite)The Earth has a gaseous atmosphere
The earth turns on its axis; it orbits around the earth-moon barycenter; it orbits around the sun.
the moon effect's the earth in ways of it's gravitational pull
Different ways of seeing the moon from the earth
Different ways of seeing the moon from the earth
it is alike because the are the same in different ways because they are all part of the earths crust
"Phases" of the Moon.

They are both three dementinal
they both have a cell wall
