In the console or in the dash, depending on location of shifter, or possible on the outside of the transmission.

Std. transmission would not have a neutral safety switch - if anything it would have a clutch safety switch located usually at the top of the clutch pedal

The neutral safety switch on this bike is behind the oil filter's aluminum housing. Don't try to bypass the switch as this will make the bike very dangerous in starting.

On the top of the transmission next to the reverse lamp switch. Unfortunately that means it is underneath the car in the "channel" on top.

Take off the old one and put a new one back in that spot.

I would replace the neutral safety switch; Buy it from the Ford dealer where they can print out the picture of it along with its location. I hope this helps you. Mark

you can disconnect the starter relay and run a wire from the starter wire in the connector to the power wire on it p.s. it is easyer to take a curcit tester and probe the connectors with someone truning the ignition switch to fine the starter the starter wire is brown and im not sure about the power lead from the ignition switch

This switch is located on the very front of the transmission. To see it you'll need to get underneath the car, look right behind the rad support panel. On my car there is a metal cover or plate, limiting access to it. This cover appears easy to remove ie; some bolts.

If your talking about the Neutral Start (Starter Safety) REPLACEMENT 1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery. Caution: On models equipped with the Theftlock audio system, be sure the lockout feature is turned off before performing any procedure which requires disconnecting the battery.(This switch is also referred to as the PNP (Park-Neutral Position) switch. 2. Shift the transaxle into Neutral. 3. Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. 4. Trace the wire harness from the Neutral start switch to the connector and unplug it. Detach the wire harness from the two retention clips. 5. Lower the vehicle. 6. Disconnect the electrical and vacuum connectors from the cruise control servo if equipped. Remove the servo and set it out of the way on the cowl. 7. Remove the nut and detach the shift lever from the transaxle. 8. Remove the bolts and detach the switch. If the original switch is to be reinstalled, scribe a sharp line on the switch mounting bracket around the heads of the mounting bolts before the switch is removed. This will aid in position the switch on installation. 9. To install the switch, line up the flats on the shift shaft with the flats in the switch and lower the switch onto the shaft. 10. Install the bolts. If the switch is new and the shaft hasn't been moved, tighten the bolts. If the switch requires adjustment leave the bolts loose and follow the adjustment procedures below... ADJUSTMENT 11. Line up the outer notch on the switch with the inner notch on the shift shaft and tighten the switch bolts. 12. Connect the negative battery cable and verify that the engine witll start only in Neutral or Park.

Seized engine? Dead battery? Loose or corroded battery cables? Bad starter? Bad starter solenoid? Bad neutral safety switch? Bad Ignition switch?

It may be as simple as a brake light switch. You may need to find a shop manual for your vehicle to find out the location of the switch or possibly even get the information from the dealer.

The glass has a safety switch so it will not raise when the door is let down. Bypass the switch located right side, close to the locking latch (not the one on the door). you may also have a bad switch on the door. i had both
