Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine. Where it connects to the engine you will find the thermostat under the thermostat housing. Usually 2 bolts holding it in place.

It should be around your mainfold or throttle body, or just follow your top hose that goes to your radiator.
Follow the top radiator hose, to where it intersects with the motor. This would be the thermostat housing. Remove this, and the thermostat will be exposed.
follow the lower radiator hose to where it clamps to the engine. that is the thermostat housing. remove the 3 12mm nuts on the housing and the stat is right there.
Mine used to used up at idle. I changed the coolant but it kept doing it. I am pretty sure it was the thermostat. The best internet advice is that it is probably your thermostat. You can roll the dice and change it out youself or go to a good mechanic and he'll tell you for sure what is wrong.
