Do this by using your key in the driver's door lock. While alarm is tooting your horn, simply proceed as if you were unlocking/locking your door. Do this by using your key in the driver's door lock. While alarm is tooting your horn, simply proceed as if you were unlocking/locking your door.

I think you need to press and hold the lock and unlock buttons at the same time for 5 or 10 seconds to change that. This worked for me. After I checked all the door a dozen times, I came across this answer.
Click the button once
Are you using the key or the remote? If the key, you may be not turning off the alarm so it goes off.the door is already unlocked i just open the door and the horn starts blowing removed horn fuse
I assume it is to give you feedback that the vehicle locked, in case you are too far away from it to hear the locks themselves.
The horn is right in front of the radiator, on the passenger side on the 2000 Miata. You can see the bracket holding the horn, just to the left of center next to the hood locking mechanism.
Try putting the key in the driver's side door and locking and then unlocking it. It works in my 2001!
Probably a valve is out of alignment.
