it is under the throttle body on top of the transmission.
I have fixed my 1990 Honda Accord speed sensor a couple years ago and it is located on top of transmission. You can easily to change it by using simple tools. If you don't know what it looks like, go to internet and search for Honda parts and shop for speed sensor. Then, you can go back to your car and see where it is. Good Luck!
The sensor you are looking for is an integral part of the door latch.

Its on the transmission right under the throttle body. It is a grey housing with three 10mm bolts and wires coming out of the top.
No.
The automatic door has a special infrared sensor in which a person walks towards the door then the sensor detects that someone in there, it then activates the electromagnets in the entrance system which allows the door to open at at certain speed. Anam! x
Not sure about the coupe. I have a 4 door and as far as i know they didnt put speed limiters in until the 95 accord, ive had mine going 135 with about 1k left till redline.
I am having an issue with my drivers side door sensor. I have yet to do anything with it, but from what I know about VWs (i have owned and worked on them for 12 years) the door sensor is located in the door latch. I am currently looking into whether I can replace just the sensor or if i have to replace the whole latch...I read that the latch costs about 150.00. to install it, you would have to remove the door panel which can be tricky.
im looking to reset my garage door opener remote in my 1998 Honda accord ex - on the overhead console.... I don't have an owners manual
Don't worry about it, those silly resistors being sold on eBay don't work.
THE SPEED SENSOR IS LOCATED IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT LIKE UNDER THE THROTTLE BODY ON TOP OF THE TRANS, IF YOU LOOK CAREFULLY YOU'LL SEE IT IF ITS NOT SO DIRTY-IT HAS A CONNECTOR GOING TO IT. FOR ANYONE BECAUSE IT WAS A PAIN IN THE A$$ TRYING TO FIND IT WHEN IT WAS BASICALLY IN MY FACE. on a 95 V6 Accord look from the drivers side toward the firewal about midrange on top of the transmission. You will need a flashlight to see it. Look up the part on the internet and some parts sites have a picture of it. Honda mechanci was able to change it out in about 15 minutes for a $120 labor charge at the dealer because I could not find it from info posted on forums. those more fortunate than I was. If your looking to hookup in a navigation system to your speed sensor then it's under the dashboard on the drivers side. It is a blue wire with a white stripe.
