Follow wire from # 1 cylinder to cap. check position of rotor. see link
Distributor- 4-3-2-1- timing belt 34 12 (looking at distributor firing order)
The #1 cylinder is ALWAYS right front when looking over the radiator. Driver's side front. Can't help you with the distributor. Sorry
Firing Order: 1-2-3-4-5-6 Distributor rotates clockwise. Number 1 cylinder is located front of engine right side when looking at the engine from the rear.
Depends on the car. Ask a mechanic or buy a service manuel for your make and model of auto.
umm, 8?
number one wire will point to the number one cylinder
no1 on the distributor always points towards the no one cylinder
Easiest way to find it is to set #1 piston at TDC and remove the distributor cap to see where the rotor is pointing. It should be pointing to #1 cylinder position in relation to the distributor cap.
If you look at the distributor of the car, sometimes they are marked with the cylinder number on the cap. Find number 1 and follow the spark plug cable to the spark plug. That will be No. 1 cylinder.
Yes the rotor should be pointing to the #1 cylinder when you are installing the distributor.
Number 1 cylinder, which would be the first cylinder on the drivers side of the engine. You want the rotor pointing towards the 5 O'Clock position looking at the distributor from the front.
Viewed from the top looking down on the engine with the center of the cap being 12 o'clock coincident with the centerline of the engine, number 1 is at the 11 o'clock position.
