Reduces an audio file to about one-tenth its original size, and preserves
Sound is converted to digital through a process called quantizing. This converts sound energy into a basic musical format (such as .WAV as in the case of Windows Sound Recorder). MP3 is a form of compression that makes huge sound files much smaller with minimal loss of sound quality. A separate encoder is required to convert a basic sound file to an MP3.
That can vary quite a lot, depending on the quality of the music. For example, a typical MP3 file, in fairly high quality, uses about 1 MB for every minute of sound. But it is quite possible to have MP3 files (or the corresponding streaming format) at a fraction of that amount.
iTunes can format songs into a variety of different formats. By default the songs are encoded in AAC, short for Advanced Audio Coding. It is much like MP3, but sound quality is better. On the other hand not many Digital Audio Players accept AAC; however many are beginning too.
The quality of your published Windows Movie Maker project depends on the quality of the input and output sources. For example: If you have HQ/HD quality input (media) in the project, but choose a lower output quality when publishing, the original quality will be lost. It is extremely important to choose a publishing quality equal to the original media source files.
Sound better is really what you enjoy when listening to music. Your playback equipment will also make a BIG difference! If you playback a quality recorded LP on a quality turntable and quality cartridge and off course high end amplifier with quality speakers, well the sound will be much more richer, deeper bass, realistic drum sounds to the original recording than if played back on CD with high end equipment also. The CD is much easier to use, no scratch or pops sounds but.......... to me, a vinyl recording sounds better than CD. Jean R
Bose speakers and sound systems are probably the best one can purchase. Even with the higher cost of a Bose system, the diference in sound quality is very much worth the extra money.
poor sound quality. Record players are much better for music.
yay!! i got a blog!...... But i think Ipods are better because they may not have as much memory as the average Mp3, but the sound is louder and it just looks more..um..STYLISH i guess really! - Mark .j. Townend
Network Music Players have exceptional sound quality, so much so that they can sometimes be excessive to most users needs. Don't let that discourage your purchase, just know you'll have the option of high quality sound, which can be heard throughout multiple rooms away from the device.
Both Sony and Belkin HD cables produce excellent picture and sound quality, and there isn't much visible difference between the two.
Don't bother with surround sound speakers. If you want a sound system, get a sound bar. Bose makes them for around $129.99 and up. You will save space and get better quality sound.
I have beats solos HD (black) and i personally think they have great sound quality and the bass is superb. I have listened to my friend's detoxes and i don't sense that much of an improvement in terms of sound quality. i would definitely recommend Solos HD the price (179.99-199.99) is unmatched in terms of cheapness and the sound quality s great
