there should be a plug/baffle in the back of the exaust take it out you will gain somw horse power. then take the air box lid off. the next step would be to get a k and n air cleaner and jet kit. after that you will have to get into internal mods.

The oil plug is under the oil filter ...straight bolt ..14 mill..
If the carburetor is cleaned on the Yamaha Bruin 350 and it will idle but stall when given gas, it could be that the float is sticking. The carburetor may also need to be adjusted by turning the adjustment screw so that it is not getting too much gas when revved.
Poor upkeep try cleanig the airfilter if that doesent work try cleaning out the carburetor I have a yamaha 350 bruin I had the same problem
