Where are mangrove swamps located?
Mangrove swamps are in salt and brackish water up to 4 feet deep in parts of the world where it does not freeze. They have been removed from large areas of Florida for the purpose of development. They have been removed from the Mediterranean coast of North Africa and much of the Middle East and turned into firewood.
