You cannot sell property left for repair unless you have a signed agreement with the customer that gives you the right to sell property not retrieved after a certain time period. Your policy needs to be on the receipt and you need proof that the customer was aware of your policy and agreed to it. If you don't have that signed agreement you may need to file a claim in small claims court. If the property is a vehicle you can't sell it because you don't have title to the vehicle.
YES and EVEN shut your water off

Yes, a repair shop can place a lien on a vehicle for unpaid repair/maintenance work. If the vehicle is taken to that shop, they can hold that vehicle until the bills are paid, even if you are not the owner who originally incurred the charges.
The company that is trying to collect should be able to provide the information. If they can't I would dispute the charge with the agency as they are unable to provide documentation of the charges.
Yes, depending on the state, a home can be sold for unpaid property taxes.
Pay UHaul what you owe them including the storage costs associated with the items left in t he truck.Another View: U-Haul can file a lien against you for the unpaid rental but they are not legally permitted to hold your possessions 'hostage' for the payment of their fees. If they refuse to turn over your property, go to the local law enforcement agency, report the matter and request they accompany you to the U-Haul facility to recover your personal property. Be aware, however, they may be entitled to add 'storage' charges to the bill.
Yes, unpaid medical bills will be reported to credit bureaus not to mention the collection agency that the medical facility will pursue.
You may need legal help in collecting on an unpaid debt for car repair. You may be able to go to small claims court and get help in collecting on this.
Yes. Depending on the state, if you haven't paid your storage bill in 3-12 months, the facility will be able to place a lien on your property - car, furniture, family heirlooms, etc. Again depending on the state, they'll have to send you certified letters and place an ad in the newspaper before they can auction your item. The proceeds from the auction will be used to pay for your unpaid months, and you'll be written a check for any remainder. If your property hasn't been auctioned, I recommend paying whatever balance you have with the facility and getting your stuff back before it happens.
When you quitclaim a property you only change ownership of the property. You will still be responsible for the unpaid loan amount unless you went through a divorce and the courts order your ex repsonsible for the debt.
Yep!
What will happen is that eventually the government will sell your property at auction to recover the unpaid taxes.
