to hard.. get a mechanic to do it.......
My partner believes that it is in the fuel pump assembly.
My Mazda 323 86 does the same, i think its a vaccuume hose missing. Otherwise oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, water in petrol tank. More but too varied question.
Isnt one. There is a strainer inside the fuel tank though.
To troubleshoot a Mazda 323 that is starting, turning over, and getting fuel, check the spark plugs first. You should also ensure the air filter is clean.
It's in the fuel tank coupled with the fuel pump. You need to take out the back seats to get to it :\
To change the fuel filter built into the fuel tank of a 2003 Mazda 323, first, ensure the vehicle is turned off and the battery is disconnected. Remove the fuel tank by draining it and disconnecting the fuel lines and brackets. Once the tank is out, access the fuel pump assembly where the filter is located, and replace the old filter with a new one. Reassemble the tank and reconnect all lines before starting the vehicle.
Fuel filter is mounted on the bulkhead behind the engine. Look down the back of the engine and you will see a cylindrical part mounted vertivally on the bulkhead.
In a 1993 Mazda 323, the fuel filter is typically located on the driver's side of the vehicle, near the rear axle and the fuel tank. It is mounted along the fuel line and can often be found above the rear suspension. To access it, you may need to raise the vehicle and remove any protective covers. Always ensure the fuel system is depressurized before attempting to replace the filter.
Where can I find the fuel pump relay on a 2000 mazda 323
Should be the same as my 1989 323; 40 PSIG (280 kPag). Please note this is on the discharge side of the high pressure pump, before the fuel filter. Good luck Malcolm
This should be the same as the 1989 323; the curved connection is the outlet end to the carb or fuel injector pressure regulator. The straight end connects to the fuel line from the fuel tank. The filter should also have an arrow marked on it for fuel direction flow. Cheers Malcolm He means the curved part goes to the top.
