The Mazda 323 fuel filter is located in the fuel tank. The fuel tank will need to be drained in order to change the fuel filter.
to hard.. get a mechanic to do it.......
My partner believes that it is in the fuel pump assembly.
My Mazda 323 86 does the same, i think its a vaccuume hose missing. Otherwise oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, water in petrol tank. More but too varied question.
Isnt one. There is a strainer inside the fuel tank though.
To troubleshoot a Mazda 323 that is starting, turning over, and getting fuel, check the spark plugs first. You should also ensure the air filter is clean.
It's in the fuel tank coupled with the fuel pump. You need to take out the back seats to get to it :\
Fuel filter is mounted on the bulkhead behind the engine. Look down the back of the engine and you will see a cylindrical part mounted vertivally on the bulkhead.
Where can I find the fuel pump relay on a 2000 mazda 323
Should be the same as my 1989 323; 40 PSIG (280 kPag). Please note this is on the discharge side of the high pressure pump, before the fuel filter. Good luck Malcolm
This should be the same as the 1989 323; the curved connection is the outlet end to the carb or fuel injector pressure regulator. The straight end connects to the fuel line from the fuel tank. The filter should also have an arrow marked on it for fuel direction flow. Cheers Malcolm He means the curved part goes to the top.
The 1988 Mazda 323 1.6L non-turbo EFI engine requires an electric fuel pump, which is located inside the gas tank.
No, the 1988 323 is fuel injected. Are you needing to service the car? if so what needs doing? Cheers Malcolm
