∙ 12y agoOn a 1996 Ford Ranger ( ASSUMING it is the same setup on your 1996 Mazda b3000 ) the fuel pump shut off switch ( inertia switch with the reset button on top ) is located in the front passenger footwell , in the corner , above the carpet and below the dash
The fuel system is pressurized on fuel injected engines. If you were in an accident and the fuel pump still running, it could spray out fuel and feed a fire. The fuel reset switch detects a sudden jolt (hard!) and trips. You just reset it by pushing the button on top. On my 99 B3000, its on the firewall under the glovebox, and has a red top. HTH
There is none.
in my 2000 b3000 it is under the passenger glove box next to the fuel pressure release valve.
There is no fuel pump inertia switch on any Mazda. These are found on Ford vehicles.
It should be located in the trunk on the drivers/passengers side.
In order to reset a tripped fuel cut off switch you depress the red button located on the top of the switch. To locate the switch depends entirely on the year and make. Most likely its in the trunk area or in the right front kickpanel area.
Passenger side on floor above floor mat. there will be a button to push, push it and that should reset t.
Was wondering the same.. for a Fuel injected 1987 Mazda 626 non-Turbo According to a Mazda dealer I just called. There is no reset switch. The Fuel pump is located in the gas tank. and the Pump Relay is on the firewall of the passenger side. Regards, Yanek What do you want to reset? "Check Engine" codes can be reset by disconnecting the battery for 5-10 minutes.
It does not have a reset switch. It does not have a reset switch.
Reset the change oil light on Mazda 3
Either buy a reset switch from a motor factor or get your local dealership to clear it.
