Yes, medals may be mounted on the Army Dress Blue Uniform, but they are most commonly worn in ceremonial units and ceremonies. Otherwise, the regular ribbon rack is worn in the same location as on the Army Dress Green Uniform.
Medals are typically mounted on the left side of the chest when wearing dress blues. The order and positioning of the medals will depend on the individual's branch of service and personal awards received. The highest-ranking or most prestigious medals are usually placed closest to the center of the chest.
yes because the medals of a blue dress contains a medal that you cannot overwiegh
over the left breast pocket area........................
The mini medals are placed the same as regular sized medals. 1/4" above left breast pocket.
you can either wear the ribbon or the medal not both
no such thing as placement of shooting badges on dress blue "alphas." the alphas are the jacket with large medals. the dress blue "bravo" is the blues jacket worn with ribbons and badges.
The gloves are only worn during ceremonies.

Yes, but the only ribbons you can wear are the ribbons that does not have a corresponding Medal i.e Combat Action Ribbon, Seaservice Deployment Ribbon. You can wear up to 7 medals in one row but they have to be mounted a special way. Ribbons are worn on the right hand side and follow the 1/8th on an inch spacing from the pocket.
The short answer: With a few exceptions, almost any award or badge that can be worn on the Army Class A "greens" may be worn on dress blues. On the Army male Dress Blue Uniform one may wear ribbons, full-sized medals, or miniature medals over the left breast pocket. However the miniature medals may only be worn with a bow tie. Special skill (such as airborne wings) and marksmanship badges are also worn on the left side above or below ribbons, though when wearing fullsize medals on dress blues drivers and mechanics badges may not be worn nor may any special skills badges or marksman ship badges be worn beneath full-size medals on the pocket flap of Army male dress blues. For the full answer see Army Regulation 670-1 for wear of uniforms Chapter 20 is male dress blue uniform and chapter 21 is for females. Yes. They go in the center of the ribbon of the medal. If you rate a star, and it is the correct corresponding star/medal.
Regular Class A uniform, which I think is now the Dress Blue Uniform.. when I was in, Class A was what is now called the Army Green Uniform. Either one will suffice.
No, Marines are not authorized to wear their dress blues coat with jeans. The dress blues uniform is typically worn with appropriate uniform trousers or a skirt.
