Well, if concerta makes you sick then you should definitely tell your doctor and if he switches your meds there is probably an 80% chance he will prescribe adderall or some generic form b/c Ritalin and adderall are the go-to ADD meds

i would not advise taking any concerta while taking lexapro. I am currently taking lexapro and have taken concerta about 7 times. Each time i took concerta i would hear many scary voices in my head. i looked up the psycotic effects of concerta and they said that a side effect of concerta is hearing voices if you are on an antidepressant
Can you take Prozac and Concerta at the same time?
These 2 meds are in two completely different classes. Prozac is a SSRI (serotonin reuptake inhibitor) while Concerta is methylphenidate, a stimulant--acts on the dopamine in your brain. Concerta is essentially the same as Ritalin, only it's an extended release version. Prozac is used to treat depression/anxiety, among other uses, while Concerta is used to treat ADHD/ADD. That said, depression/anxiety can have symptoms that mimic the symptoms of ADHD. Lack of focus, concentration, irritability...to name a few. A diagnosis of ADD often comes after trials of SSRI treatment don't work. And also, sometimes these 2 meds are prescribed together, as oftentimes, ADHD and anxiety can go hand-in-hand.

Sometimes physicians will prescribe Ambien or another sleeping pill to help people sleep if they are on Concerta. I assume you want to speed off Concerta and then sleep with Tylenol PM? Is that right? Well first, there is no come down from Concerta, it just wears off. The next day, however, is going to be the most boring day of you life. And secondly, have you taken PM before? It suck. I have taken it far too many times. I doesn't put you to sleep, it doesn't make you feel rested, it does nothing. There is nothing to worry about coming down from Concerta.

Kids with ADD should not take meds just take red #40 food coloring out of there diet and give them Attention you can get it at health stores. They don't meds you can take care of that your self Doctors want tell you that they want to drug them up with ADHD meds!
