my air condtion stop working, just the red light is on, no leaks, full of freon. change battery about 2 weeks ago but didnt have anything reset.
i would think its on.
your A/C needs to be regassed
You can check the Mercedes-Benz air conditioning control module with a diagnostic tester. Hook the diagnostic tester to the diagnostic test port.
Remove the belt from your Mercedes-Benz 240 air conditioning compressor. Remove the air conditioning hoses. Remove the compressor retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new air conditioning compressor.
The ac module is the actual pushbutton assembly below the radio in your car. that is the control module for the a/c and heater, can be removed with 2 radio keys from Mercedes Benz.
Most air conditioning units have no reset button. If any do there would be no standard place for it.

The 2000 Mercedes C280 air conditioning compressor fuse can be found in the fuse box. The air conditioning compressor fuse will be in the second column, fifth from the bottom.
