For any Operating system, you need to have a basic antivirus/internet security suite. These are some essentials for your PC. If you are ready to shell out some money for the same, buy Norton 2010 Internet Security. It will not cost more than 30-35 USD. Further, if you're looking for free app doing the same job, go for Avira AntiVir Personal, its the best in the job.
go to your settings and click blank virus on the first page, then that will remove the black virus off windows 7 PC
Yes it is.
What is the most powerful free anti-virus for windows 7 in 2010
Nope - AVG is an anti-virus program completely independent from Windows. It has no connection with the Windows operating system - other than it runs on the Windows 7 platform( and others)
You need to get the right software.
Windows 7 might be taken into category, as it is new & according to me it'll be soon among the most 'virus-occupied' Windows!!
Windows 7 doesn't come with its own anti-virus, but it does come with something called BitLocker which can encrypt data on your computer for you so it can't be seen by others. It's available on Windows 7 Professional and Windows 7 Ultimate.
No computer is virus free, not even Macs. The reason windows has more virii is because more people have Windows Operating System. Therefore a virus programmer is looking for most of the time what will make them more money. This is the reason Macs have less virii then Windows. Is it harder to hack Mac then Windows no they are about the same comparing Windows 7 and Mac OS 10
Nope I have windows 7 and it checks for viruses and stops them every month and there no viruses.
Your virus protection is listed in the installed programs list, and should also have an icon on the desktop for Windows, or an entry on the list generated by clicking the Start button at lower left. If no virus protection is installed, you may be prompted to start either Windows Defender or Microsoft Security Essentials (both are free for all Windows PCs). There is also anti-malware in the Action Center for Windows 7 and Windows 8.
Windows in general is a pretty reliable company. The thing that you need to be careful of is viruses. Windows is very sensitive. If you get a virus it will crash. I would go for a Mac if I were you.
It does have better security built in than Windows XP. Always make sure to have an anti virus software of your own though.
