Silicate - describes a mineral that contains silicone and oxygen and usually one or more other elements.
Since glass is basically silicon dioxide (SiO2), usually known as silica, both elements (silicon and oxygen) are found in the earth's crust.Glass also usually contains Calcium Oxide (CaO) and Sodium Oxide (Na2O) in significant proportions.
Other elements
Silica is the mineral quartz (SiO2) and silicon is the element (Si) which is a major rock forming element in Earth's crust, and is therefore found nearly everywhere. Concentrations of silica which are mined are usually in the form of quartz sand or sandstone deposits.
Minerals containing silicon and oxygen are most generally known as silicates.
Quartzite
An alloy employed for adding manganese to steel and also as a deoxidezer. Silicon Manganese usually contains 60 to 70% manganese and 12 to 25% silicon
Name of the set which contains all elements is UNIVERSAL SET. It is usually represented by (U)
Silicon is one of the major ingredients in sand. It is readily available all over the earth.
I'm not sure if the question is:A) What elements does bronze contain? In other words, what is it made of?Or,B) What objects (***not elements, as bronze is not an element) contain bronze? The answer to A) is easy:Bronze is usually a mixture of copper and tin. Though sometimes the tin can be replaced with other elements such as phosphorus, manganese, aluminum, or silicon. Note that copper is always the base of any alloy called 'bronze'.
We usually call this an ore.
