∙ 15y agoReasons that you could be missing your period are, You are a very athletic woman, there have been cases where woman will stop their periods when they physically exert themselves for long periods of time. You could be Malnurished, wether it be from anorexia or Bulimia. Then there is the Birth Control, if you are on the Depo Shot you may not get your period at all and others stop your periods altogether.

∙ 11y agoWeight loss, excessive exorcise, stress and low thyroid can all cause periods to stop. If the first three don't apply, possibly a thyroid test would help. There are also blood tests that can be done to evaluate your hormone levels throughout the month, to check for too low of levels to trigger your period.

I found out 6 days before my missed period with a 5 day sooner pregnancy test. I would wait atleast until the 6th or 5th day before your missed period. Or with a normal test they day before or of your missed period. :)

If you have a negative pregnancy test, you are probably not pregnant. What makes you think it's not your period? (ie. did you have a pos pregnancy test earlier?)

There isn't a 100% way to tell. Wait and see if you miss your next period, if so take another home test. Or, if you do not wish to wait till your next period. Go talk to your doctor and ask for him to preform a blood pregnancy test.

yes it's very possible store bought pregnancy test can be inaccurate it says on most of the boxes in the store the doctors test is the best test it will give an accurate sign of whether you are or aren't so yeah it's very possible sometimes those test have been sitting on the shelves for forever so you have to get the second opinion at home tests are more likely to give a false negative result if you dont get your period as you usually do go back to your doctor and have them do another test if its still negative and you are still thinking that your pregnant get them to do an ultrasound and see whats really going on sometimes you can be pregnant but your hcg levels aren't increasing as they should which is a sign of an unhealthy pregnancy...hope everythign works out for the best Good Luck and God Bless!!! It may be you had a very early miscarriage, it is thought that this is very common, but not noticed because it has only recently been possible to do a pregnancy test before a missed period.

You should go to the doctor immediately. Could be having a miscarriage. Or, pregnancy symptoms are very similar to period symptoms. Did you start your period?
