It's down to general attitude and lifestyle choice. Unfortunately most Indians choose not to engage in great physical activity such as high intensity sports or workouts and there are very few in the military and from what I have seen there are none in the elite forces.

Diet plays a crucial role in staying healthy but a typical Indian diet has high fat, oil, salt and sugar content resulting in a weaker immune system.
