Muhammed was not a Christian. His religion has many similarities with some forms of Gnostic Christianity. Apparently he was familiar with that heresy. He was also familiar with some Jewish teaching. Still, he did his own thing.

As like any other human he had possessed inherent qualities of various skills of life. this was channeled as the need of the time arose. ∙ 14y agoSaying Muhammad was a Muslim is like saying Jesus was a Christian, when in fact Christ was raised as a Jew. the truth is Muhammad is the return of Christ as Christ is the return of Moses as Moses is the return of Abraham. All the "Messengers of God" are one. God has always provided humanity with these divine teachers, what we have done with what we think we know is another thing.
