Most poperly films twilight or Harry Potters?

The following is the reason why I believe Harry Potter is a more popular series than The Twilight Saga:

Harry Potter has received a much higher reception and fan base as both the films and books are equally loved by quite a large margin of the population of children leading up to the elderly. Although Twilight has beaten one of the Harry Potter books in book charts for the consecutive weeks at number one, the others have beaten the Twilight Saga by far.

Although the Twilight Saga is suggest ably targeted towards teenagers leading into adulthood, the majority of its fan base is actually under 20 years old. The fan base is much smaller than Harry Potter, and without the release of the films, the fan base would actually be even smaller whereas Harry Potter has been a worldwide phenomenon every since the release of the Philosopher's (Sorcerer's) Stone.

Many of the devoted fans of Twilight has expressed protest to the films productions. Some have gone off the series altogether as the films in essence have ruined what they enjoyed about the Saga itself, as it had a "niche" fan base which has now been destroyed by the films releases as many of the newer fans had never heard of the series and have never read the books since.

The funding for the Harry Potter films is also much greater than the Twilight films, suggesting that the production companies funding the making of the films consider Harry Potter a much more worthwhile financial investment. This has paid off as well as the films have grossed a much larger amount than the Twilight films, and this considering the gross of a separate film, not the entire series.

Overall, Harry Potter is a much more popular series than the Twilight Saga. Twilight was originally known to a small market which has now escalated into a worldwide phenomenon due to the film releases. Harry Potter was a stand alone phenomenon in the world even before the films releases, and has continued to increase its fan base in both the books and films as time has progressed.

Harry Potter is considered a literary accomplishment and will be remembered along with such works by Stephen King, Charles Dickens and Rould Dahl. I personally do not think the Twilight Saga will be remembered as the books themselves were not written particularly well in comparison to many other books of the same popularity. But still Twilight still has popularity and in the end may be remembered.
