Ok. On the front of every small, and big block before 2000, there are four bolt holes. Two per side, one on top of the other. In the 55, 56, and 57, used a different sort of motor mount system. They used two in the front, and then at the bellhousing, two more. This eliminated the cross member. So, you have to fabricate one, or, go with a stick shift, and find the old style bell housing/scatter shield, for the car.
