When the radio was installed in the 1993 Le Sabre, something was bumped or disconnected. You will have to remove the radio then check the system to see what the problem is.
because someone was fiddling with the passenger climate control and now that baffle has stuck in the cold position . I had a 1997 buick lesabre which had the climate control functioning until a friend started adjusting it a few times then it became stuck in the cold position but only for the passenger side It is likely a mechanical bind in the baffle .
Had the same problem. In my case it was the actuator motor inside of the panel in the passenger footwell. Check to see if the flap is binding or it is the actuator motor itself.
Make sure refrigerant is fully charged. Does it have dual climate control? Perhaps passenger side sensor is not working properly
If you have manual climate control, just about any will work but you need to replace the entire radio/climate control panel. New ones can be bought from most car stereo dealers that permit installation of the aftermarket radio. You move your original climate control knobs and controls, and install the new radio to the replacement panel.If you have the automatic climate control, you're stuck. Door in vent box is not opening for the drivers side. Probably a bad vacuum line to the diaghram. If there is not a separate door than single door is not opening all the way. Also check for obstruction in the vent

When i disconnect my battery and reconnect it and then turned my heat on it works for a minute. And then it seems like it makes heat on the driver side and air-conditioning on the passenger side. It has climate control for the passenger.
Could the heater door actuator be bad? What is the cost to replace? This Grand Prix has a dual-zone climate control and when the AC is on, the passenger side vents often change to heat when the control is still on cold.
the resistor is blown. It is located on the passenger side under the dash just follow the wires from the blower motor back to it. If your climate system is manual the resistor is pretty cheap. If its the auto climate control it can get pretty expensive.
