probably the fuel pump
Is the engine running ? no
Faulty ignition wires, distributor cap and rotor could be to blame.
Oil in the distributor.
Dirty jets in the carb or dirty fuel line or faulty spark (plug or distributor)...
I had my "distributor pick-up" replaced. car would just die out, while i was driving.
If your 1994 Pontiac Trans Am randomly stalls out while driving, you may have clogged fuel injectors or a bad distributor. Check the distributor first, as this is the easiest to replace.
One thing that it could be is that your fuel injectors are clogged. You may also just have some bad gas in your vehicle.Ê
check battery cables at battery may be lose.
Could be vapor locking, and or it could be the ignition control module inside of the distributor (vary common).
Need to know year and engine size, That will help us answer your question. it's a 7.4 454 engine in a 1996 GMC suburban
Yes 4 high ONLY .
I have a 99 suburban and the battery cables can become loose. You have to clean and tighten them regularly. It has happened to me a lot. It is a design fail on gmc's part.
