What you don't tell us if the reset is after a update. I have found that if you hold home and power buttons down at the same time it will come up with the apple symbol on the face. It will then boot up normal. Try that.
You get the handset (iphone) Computer cord (for itunes) wall charger, manual and probably a screen cover xx
You can connect your iPod to the first computer it was synced with or the computer set as the primary one in iTunes. Open the iTunes application, then disconnect your iPod from the computer, and it should no longer be locked. hope this help
I would say, restore or plug in your charger and see if it connects to iTunes.
first you need an itunes. Lime wire is no longer available you can buy songs or get differentwebsites to download songs. After downloading the "legal" songs, you drag them from your "computer" page on to your "itunes" page. Then, connect the ipod with your charger(take off the outlet part) into your computer, a diiferent screen will appear, just click "sync
If you just got your ipod then you should connect it to itunes. All you have to do is connect it to your computer.
Plug it into your computer, open iTunes, click update on the main screen.
You need to plug it into your computer and if you haven't done so already, download iTunes.
take out the battery for a least a minute, put it back in, and then plug it in to its charger or into a computer via USB cord/charger. that's how i did it

When you open iTunes on the left side of the screen there is a sidebar. If your iPod is already plugged in to the computer there is a tab called whatever you named your iPod. (only if you already synced your iPod with itunes!)If you click on that on the on the main screen there is a menu with tabs on the top. This is where you sync music, videos pictures, games, podcasts, and iTunes U. Please choose me as Best Answer! Thanks!
This can occur for various reasons. If it won't let you do anything, connect it to iTunes and follow the instructions on-screen when it recognizes the iPod.
Plug in the iPod into your computer and open up iTunes. Then, when iTunes recognizes your iPod (assuming you have already have registered it with iTunes and such), click on your iPod tab in the navigation bar to the left of your screen in iTunes. After that, just click the restore button at the bottom, and follow what iTunes tells you to do from there to restore your iPod.
