Does the motor still run? If so the plastic gears that drive the lift arms to raise the h/l assembly are stripped. I'm still looking for a rebuild kit but so far looks like motor assembly replacement might be the only option. Here is a site that has the rebuild parts. http://rodneydickman.com/n21.html ,
Replace the slow headlight motor.
Turn the headlights on the whole way, then push the headlight knob back in, leaving the parking lights still lit. This will hold the headlights up, without having them turned on.
head lights wont lock in on up position
The battery has insufficient power to crank the engine but enough power to power the lights. The starter motor needs considerably more power than the headlight bulbs.
the coolant capaci of a fiero is comparable to a large pick-up truck... about 4 gall.
There are two pull up tabs on the back of the headlight. You just have to pull these up and the whole light section will come out. Replace the bulb as normal.
There are multiple relays located throughout the car. There are relays back by the engine (ex. fuel pump), relays under the dash (Door locks) and relays up front (for the headlight motors).
lift hood, on top of headlight are 2 plastic slide pins just pull these up and headlight will come out. when putting back in make sure you push in on headlight assembly. so the slide pins will lock into place. good-day !
Open the hood and notice the two black locking tabs sticking up behind the headlight assembly. Remove those two tabs by pulling on them straight up. This will allow the complete headlight assembly to come out the front. You can now remove the headlight bulbs from the headlight assembly.
Leak in the vaccume lines.
open the hood and look at the head light assembly, there are two tabs on each headlight. You need to pull those tabs up, however, if you pull them too high they will not come lose or if you dont pull them high enough they will not come out. Just pull them up a little at a time and try to slide the headlight assembly forward until they are able to be removed.
Okay.....you lift your hood up and then reach near the head of the hood when you do feel for the headlight....then go and unscrew the headlight but be very careful not to toch the headlight or you will ruin the brightness or if you are too afraid to go to a shop and have them fix it
